Events are two-week mission sets that pay medals, and medals buy relics, bots, themes, stones and shards in the event shop. Daily missions run alongside them and feed weekly reward boxes with gems, medals, stones and guild tokens. This page lists every documented event mission with its three targets, what each reward tier pays, every event shop price, and how themes add to your coin bonus.

How events work
Events unlock at the Tier 1 Wave 70 milestone. They run back to back on a two-week cycle: when one ends the next starts immediately, so there is always an event active.
Each event hands out 21 missions. Seven are available on day one, and two more are added on each of the next seven days. The last six days add nothing new, which gives you time to finish the slow ones. Missions never expire before the event does, so nothing is lost by starting late in the first week.
- Missions on day 1
- 7
- Added per day, days 2-8
- 2
- Days with no new missions
- 6

Every mission has three tiers with rising targets. You are paid medals each time you clear a tier, so a mission you cannot finish still pays for the tiers you did reach.
Medal rewards and event relics
| Mission tier | Medals | With event booster | Running total per mission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 10 | 20 | 10 |
| Tier 2 | 15 | 30 | 25 |
| Tier 3 | 20 | 40 | 45 |
A fully cleared mission is worth 45 medals, so all 21 missions pay 945 medals per event. The event booster doubles that to 1,890. The booster only covers the event you bought it for.
Medals earned from event missions also count toward that event's relics. Relics are granted when your earned total crosses a threshold. You do not spend medals to claim them, so earning and spending are separate: you get the relic and still have the medals.
| Relic | Rarity | Medals earned | Requires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Relic 1 | Rare | 350 | Nothing extra |
| Premium relic 1 | Rare | 550 | Event pass |
| Relic 2 | Epic | 700 | Nothing extra |
| Premium relic 2 | Epic | 1,100 | Event pass |
In practice the free track asks for 350 medals for the first relic and 700 for the second. Reaching 700 means clearing the equivalent of 16 full missions out of 21 (15 full missions is 675), so you can skip a handful of awkward ones and still collect both free relics.
Event mission list and targets
The wiki documents 48 possible missions. Five appear in every event; the other 16 slots are drawn from the pools below. Unlike daily missions, event missions are not filtered by your progress, so you can be handed a mission for a card or ultimate weapon you do not own.
In every event
| Mission | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Log in for X days | 7 | 10 | 13 |
| Participate in X tournaments | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| Buy X cards | 20 | 40 | 80 |
| Get the free gem reward in store X times | 7 | 10 | 13 |
| Have a total research time of X (rushed labs count) | 12d | 30d | 90d |
- Buy X cards completes automatically once every card is maxed. See the cards guide for costs.
- Research time counts rushed lab time as well as time that passes naturally.
- Log in and free gem reward both top out at 13, one short of the 14 days in an event, so a single missed day does not cost you the last tier.
Base missions
| Mission | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |

| Obtain X Modules | 40 | 80 | 160 |
| Obtain X modules by merging | 10 | 20 | 40 |
| Earn X reroll dice | 1,000 | 7,500 | 25,000 |
| Claim Ad Gems X times | 10 | 25 | 60 |
- Scatter kills count the split children. One Scatter spawn is worth 31 kills, so the three tiers need roughly 146, 484 and 2,420 spawns.
- No cards equipped must be done on your highest unlocked tier minus 2 or above, capped at Tier 14.
- Buy X Workshop upgrades completes automatically when the workshop is maxed.
- Obtain X modules does not count modules made by merging. Merging has its own mission.
- No damage for X waves: waves jumped by Wave Skip or Intro Sprint are skipped, not survived, so they do not add to the streak.
Workshop missions
| Mission | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hit X enemies with critical hits | 15K | 400K | 30M |
| Get X free upgrades | 3,000 | 6,000 | 15,000 |

| Obtain X Recovery Packages | 400 | 2,000 | 6,000 |
For the critical hit mission, repeated hits on the same enemy all count.
Card missions
| Mission | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stun X enemies using the Land Mine Stun card | 50K | 200K | 900K |
| Kill X enemies with Death Ray | 3K | 15K | 75K |

| Kill X enemies while in Demon Mode | 300 | 2,000 | 20K |
| Skip a total of X waves | 30 | 100 | 500 |
The skip waves mission accepts waves skipped by either Wave Skip or Intro Sprint. Intro Sprint jumps 10 waves at a time, so it finishes this one far faster than the Wave Skip card does.
Ultimate weapon missions
| Mission | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hit the same enemy with X Smart Missiles | 4 | 10 | 25 |
| Kill X enemies in Spotlight | 5K | 50K | 500K |

| Hit X enemies with Inner Land Mines | 75 | 250 | 1,000 |
| Kill X enemies with Smart Missiles | 250 | 1K | 15K |
| Hit X enemies with Chain Lightning | 3K | 20K | 400K |
| Hit X enemies with Death Wave | 2.5K | 25K | 250K |
If you do not own the ultimate weapon a mission asks for, the random ultimate weapon perk can supply it for a run. Space Displacer, a module that turns some workshop land mines into Inner Land Mines, also lets you work on the Inner Land Mine missions without owning that weapon.
Event shop prices
The event shop is where medals are spent. It stays open between events, and medals never expire, so you can bank them for a later shop. It sells currency packs, themes, songs, relics and bots.
Gems, stones and shards
One purchase gives 150 gems, 15 power stones or 250 shards of one of the four module types. The price climbs with each purchase and resets when the next event starts.
| Purchase this event | Medal cost | Running total |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 40 | 40 |
| 2nd | 65 | 105 |
| 3rd | 90 | 195 |
| 4th | 130 | 325 |
| 5th | 175 | 500 |
| 6th | 230 | 730 |
| 7th | 380 | 1,110 |
| 8th and later | 380 | 1,490 (+380 each) |
For shards, the wiki states that buying one shard type also raises the price of the other three.
The first stone pack works out to 2.7 medals per stone. By the seventh it is 25.3 medals per stone, more than nine times worse. Whatever you buy here, the first one or two packs are where the value is.
Themes, songs and relics
| Item | Medal cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Tower theme | 150 | +0.4% coins, permanent. One per event. |
| Background theme | 250 | +0.8% coins, permanent. One per event. |
| Song (3 available) | 200 each | +0.6% coins each, permanent. Songs do not rotate. |
| Rerun relics | 200 and 500 | Relics from a past event, offered when that event reruns. |
Themes rotate every event and can be missed. Some have returned in reruns, but a return is not guaranteed.
One event's tower theme and background cost 400 medals together for +1.2% coins that never goes away. All three songs are a one-time 600 medals for +1.8%.
Bots
Medals are the only way to unlock bots. The shop sells five: Flame, Thunder, Golden, Amplify and Bot Bot. Each bot you buy raises the price of the next, and bots do not reset between events.
| Unlock | Medal cost | Running total |
|---|---|---|
| 1st bot | 150 | 150 |
| 2nd bot | 300 | 450 |
| 3rd bot | 600 | 1,050 |
| 4th bot | 900 | 1,950 |
| 5th bot | 1,200 | 3,150 |
All five bots cost 3,150 medals, more than three full events of mission medals without a booster, before any upgrades. A bot respec refunds bots and their medal upgrades for 300 gems, once per event; lab research for bots is not refunded. Upgrade costs and what each bot is worth are covered in the bots guide, the bot ROI calculator and the bot simulator.
Daily missions and weekly boxes
Daily missions refresh every 8 hours. They are generated from your own progress, so you only see card or ultimate weapon missions for things you have unlocked, and two players will usually have different lists. Each completed mission pays 3 gems plus coins and module shards that scale with your highest unlocked tier.
| Highest tier | Coins per mission | Shards per mission |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25 | None |
| 2 | 100 | 3 |
| 3 | 1,000 | 5 |
| 4 | 10,000 | 8 |
| 5 | 25,000 | 12 |
| 6 | 80,000 | 15 |
| 7 | 250,000 | 20 |
| 8 | 500,000 | 25 |
| 9 | 1M | 30 |
| 10 | 3M | 34 |
| 11 | 5M | 38 |
| 12 | 8M | 42 |
| 13 | 15M | 48 |
| 14 | 30M | 55 |
| 15 | 75M | 60 |
| 16 | 150M | 65 |
| 17 | 300M | 70 |
| 18 | 500M | 75 |
| 19 | 750M | 80 |
| 20 | 1.25B | 85 |
| 21 | 2B | 90 |
Shards per mission can be raised with the Daily Mission Shards lab. The wiki table stops at Tier 21 and does not list rewards for Tiers 22 to 24.
The coin figure in that table is also the base unit for weekly boxes and guild chests, which pay a multiple of it. Unlocking a new tier therefore raises three reward streams at once, even if you never farm that tier.
Weekly reward boxes
Every 5 daily missions completed in a week opens a reward box, up to 35 missions. The boxes reset weekly.
| Missions done | Coins | Gems | Medals | Stones | Tokens |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | x3 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 5 |
| 10 | x4 | 15 | 10 | 0 | 5 |
| 15 | x5 | 20 | 15 | 0 | 5 |
| 20 | x7 | 25 | 20 | 0 | 5 |
| 25 | x10 | 30 | 25 | 10 | 5 |
| 30 | x15 | 35 | 30 | 15 | 5 |
| 35 | x20 | 50 | 35 | 20 | 5 |
| Week total | x64 | 185 | 135 | 45 | 35 |
Coins are a multiple of your per-mission coin reward from the table above.
- Gems per week, 35 missions
- 290 105 from missions + 185 from boxes
- Medals per 2-week event
- 270 not counted toward relics
- Power stones per week
- 45 all from the last three boxes
- Guild tokens per week
- 35
The boxes are back-loaded. The last three (25, 30 and 35 missions) hold all 45 stones and 90 of the 135 medals, so stopping at 20 missions a week leaves most of the value behind. The 35 tokens go toward the guild store, and the same weekly boxes are what earn guild contribution. See the guilds guide.
Themes, skins and the coin bonus
The Themes menu (players usually say skins) holds four kinds of theme plus songs. Every theme you own adds a small permanent coin bonus whether or not it is equipped, so themes are an economy purchase as much as a cosmetic one.
| Theme type | Coin bonus each | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Tower | +0.4% | Milestones (wave 2,500 of each tier), event shop for 150 medals, guild store for 100 tokens |
| Background | +0.8% | Event shop for 250 medals, guild store for 100 tokens |
| Menu | +0.6% | Guild store for 100 tokens |
| Guardian | +0.6% | Guild store for 150 tokens |
| Song | +0.6% | Event shop for 200 medals |
Theme bonuses add together into one multiplier, shown in the tier multiplier menu:
Backgrounds give twice the bonus of a tower theme. Per point of bonus the background is also cheaper in the event shop: 312.5 medals per 1% against 375 for a tower theme, so it is the better buy if you can only afford one. Songs add their +0.6% each on top; the wiki formula does not show a separate song term.
Milestone tower themes
Tower themes are also milestone rewards at wave 2,500 of each tier. The wiki lists 21: 14 on the free track and 7 on the paid track.
| Theme | Track | Theme | Track |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shuriken | Free | Skull | Free |
| Donut | Paid | Creepy Clown | Free |
| Yin-Yang | Free | Panda | Paid |
| Smile | Free | Tech Tree | Free |
| Butterfly | Paid | Cactus | Free |
| Sheep | Free | Dragon | Paid |
| Fried Egg | Free | Rhino | Free |
| Mush-mush | Paid | Atomic | Free |
| Turtle | Free | Cyber | Paid |
| Cheese | Free | Eclipse | Free |
| Cat | Paid |

Every source of medals
| Source | Medals | Counts toward event relics |
|---|---|---|
| Event missions | 945 per event | Yes |
| Event missions with booster | 1,890 per event | Yes |
| Weekly daily-mission boxes | 135 per week | No |
| Guardian Fetch chip | Up to 10 per day | Not documented |
A player who clears every mission and every weekly box earns 945 + 270 = 1,215 medals per two-week event before Fetch. The Fetch chip has a 2% medal entry on its loot table with a cap of 10 a day. How medals fit with the other currencies is in the currencies guide.
Frequently asked questions
How many medals can you get per event in The Tower?
945 from missions: 21 missions with three tiers paying 10, 15 and 20 medals. The event booster doubles mission medals to 1,890. Weekly daily-mission boxes add up to 135 medals a week on top.
How many medals do you need for the event relics?
The two free relics unlock at 350 and 700 medals earned during that event. The two event pass relics unlock at 550 and 1,100. You keep the medals; relics are granted for earning them, not spending them.
Do medals expire when an event ends?
No. Medals carry over and the event shop stays open between events. Carried-over medals can be spent normally, but they do not count toward the next event's relic thresholds.
How long does an event last in The Tower?
Two weeks. New missions arrive during the first 8 days (7 on day one, then 2 a day), and the last 6 days have no new missions. The next event starts as soon as the current one ends.
How much do bots cost in the event shop?
The five bots cost 150, 300, 600, 900 and 1,200 medals in the order you buy them, 3,150 medals in total. The price depends on how many bots you already own, not on which bot you pick.
Do themes and skins give a bonus in The Tower?
Yes. Each owned tower theme adds 0.4% coins, each background 0.8%, and each menu theme, Guardian skin and song 0.6%. The bonuses are additive and apply even when the theme is not equipped.
