The Tower Vault: Every Harmony, Power and Enemy Key Upgrade

The Vault is the endgame upgrade screen that opens when you reach Legend league. Everything in it is bought with keys, which only come from Legend and Mythic tournaments. It has three tabs: Harmony for automation, presets and extra card slots, Power for flat stat bonuses, and Enemy for weakening each enemy type. This page lists every section, its unlock cost, and every upgrade with its key cost and effect.

How the Vault works

The Vault appears on the home screen once you are promoted into Legend league. Its only currency is keys. Each tab is divided into sections, most sections cost keys to open, and once a section is open you can buy its upgrades in any order.

In the Harmony tab the game does not show what a section contains until you have paid to unlock it. The tables below are there so you can decide before spending.

Earning keys

Keys are a tournament reward in the top two leagues only. Tournaments run twice a week, so your rank bracket sets a hard weekly income.

A mid-table Legend finish (ranks 9-10) earns 6 keys per tournament, or 12 a week. At that pace the six extra card slots alone (215 keys plus the 5-key section unlock) are roughly 18 weeks of play. Winning a Legend bracket pays 25, and even last place in Mythic pays 8. With 73,022 keys needed for everything, the Vault is a long-term sink and the order you buy in matters far more than whether you finish it.

The other tournament rewards are covered in the Currencies guide and league rules in the Tournaments guide.

Harmony tab

Harmony is the quality-of-life tab. It has seven sections. Gameplay is open from the start and the other six cost 5 or 10 keys each to reveal. Fully buying the tab costs 1,385 keys.

Auto Restart Run is the overnight farming upgrade: a new battle starts by itself when the tower dies. Ad Gem Stack lets unclaimed ad gems pile up to five deep instead of being lost while you are away.

The two Bastion rows come from the game data behind the Vault Key Simulator; the wiki does not list them yet.

The six Additional Card Slots are the reason most players open this section first. They raise the card slot cap from 22 to 28, and unlike the gem slots they cannot be bought any other way. Smart Demon Mode Automation and Smart Nuke Automation turn those cards into extra death saves that fire on a killing blow, after Death Defy, Energy Shield and Second Wind. Since v27.3 a Smart Nuke save also grants 15 seconds of invulnerability. Life Saving Ordering then lets you choose the order yourself. See the Cards guide for the cards involved.

Power tab

Power mirrors the workshop: Attack, Defense, Utility and Ultimate Weapons, each 25 keys to open. Almost every upgrade has five levels on the same price ladder of 10, 20, 40, 70 and 110 keys, 250 in total. The exceptions are cheaper or shorter and are easy to spot in the tables. The whole tab costs 11,505 keys.

Death Defy uses the doubled price ladder in current game data (500 keys), the same as Wall Rebuild. The wiki still lists the standard 250.

Three defense upgrades are worth more than their size suggests. Orbs adds 2 orbs for 60 keys, one of only a few ways past the workshop limit of 4. Defense % adds up to 1.5% toward the 98% cap. Wall Rebuild removes up to 100 seconds, but at 500 keys it is the most expensive single upgrade in the tab.

Enemy tab

The Enemy tab weakens enemies directly. It has four sections holding twelve enemy types. Every enemy has three separate upgrade tracks of 30 levels, and each level is worth 1% (or the equivalent for coin bonus and drop chance). All thirty-six tracks share one price list.

The third track is the interesting one: Basic gives a coin bonus, Boss raises common module drop chance, and Saboteur gains a chance to miss.

One track costs 1,662 keys to take from 0 to 30, so a single enemy is 4,986 keys and the whole tab is 60,132 including section unlocks. The first levels are cheap, though: 5 levels of a track cost 138 keys and 10 levels cost 315.

Enemy stats themselves are on the Enemy Stats reference, and the Enemies guide explains what each type does. The Vault reductions are separate from the Enemy Research labs, which cap at 6% to 15% per stat.
